As the winter season is just starting, gaming corporation Nintendo has been riding a wave of success with the release of Splatoon 3, and their newest game has captured the peak of this company’s recent success.
The Kyoto-based company recently released a statement about its success, mainly on its newest hit titles, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The game released for the Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022, has 10 million units sold globally within the first three days of being released. This number of sales has surpassed their previous games in debut sales and has become one of the highest-grossing games for a debut for Nintendo!
One could say Pokemon is one of the safest options for the company. The game has been improving rapidly in graphics and gameplay, especially with Pokemon, since Pokemon Sun and Pearl. The graphics and gameplay are different from any other Pokemon and show Nintendo is not afraid to take risks to exceed expectations.
